Frances Hess and Wilbur "Eby" Richards Endowed Scholarship Fund

Area of Interest: Elementary Education/Education

Criteria:

First preference shall be given to an Elementary Education major. Second preference shall be given to any Education major. He/she shall have achieved a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.

Frances Richards earned a bachelor's degree from Chadron State in 1944, after attending for eight summers and one full year. She was working as a librarian at CSC when she met her husband, Eby, in 1954 while he was working at the FAA Flight Service Station at the Chadron Airport.
