Marcella (McNeill) Luther Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Eligibility: Freshman
Area of Interest: Elementary Education

Criteria:

The recipient shall be a resident of Nebraska and majoring in Elementary Education. The recipient shall be a freshman with the highest GPA, who has successfully completed one semester and who has not received any other scholarship. The recipient shall have a GPA of at least a 2.0.

From Indianola High School, Marcella taught in western Nebraska rural schools and attended Chadron State College in the summers. Graduating from Eastern Michigan University, she taught in Michigan elementary schools. This scholarship perpetuates her lifelong interest in elementary education, and fond memories of Chadron State.
